Rebuild Life After Divorce for Women

What are you going to do with the rest of your life? You realize that how this turns out is ALL in your control, right?

Bad things happen to everybody, but it’s how we choose to respond that dictates the outcome.

I want to offer a few things to think about when you rebuild life after divorce.

1 – Choose to live with passion and purpose!

2 – Choose to create the life of your dreams!

3 – Choose to live a healthy, active lifestyle!

4 – Choose to be happy!

5 – Choose to make this world a better place than it was when you got here!

That may sound big. Maybe even insurmountable. But you would be shocked how easy and natural it really is when you tap into your true and authentic self. It is much easier than conforming to what someone else wants you to be. One gives life, and one sucks it out of you.

It’s time to see the world differently – time to see yourself differently. It’s time to see yourself unfolding before your very eyes!

You  have probably suppressed your true self for so long, you forgot you were in there, smoldering, waiting to be set free. Chances are you were living in fear. Fear of losing what you thought you had, but really didn’t.

I have a completely different attitude about my self and my life now. I will never see myself the same way again. Thank You God!

And now it is YOUR turn! It is your turn to reassess how you are living your life. It is your turn to redirect your choices toward living with passion and purpose. It is your turn to choose to be happy!

How exciting is that? To be given a second chance to live up to your potential! To live with passion and purpose! To be happy! And only YOU can make that happen.

My challenge for you is to search your soul, ask yourself the following questions, and then to listen to your answers honestly:

– “Is this how I want to live the next half of my life?”

– “Do I have a passion and purpose in my life?”

– “Am I living my Dream Life?

– “Am I happy?

There will never be a better time to rebuild your life after divorce than now and I can help. What are you waiting for?

No really – What are you waiting for???

Until next time,

Happy Living!

New Start, Clean Slate – What are You Going to do With Yours?

What ARE you going to do with yours? I know you are thinking about it now… with the best intentions….

I want to offer a few suggestions to think about in your mission to fix all of your wrongs by making a list of intentional rights.

New Year’s Resolutions:

#1 – Resolve yourself to having more fun!

#2 – Live a healthy, active lifestyle!

#3 – See something spectacular this year!

#4 – Feel something spectacular this year!

#5 – Live with passion and purpose!

#6 – Choose to be happy!

#7 – Choose to make this world a better place than it was when you got here!

There you have it. My suggestions for New Year’s resolutions, or should I say intentions. We start with the best intentions, and then as life unfolds, we forget them. But if we will embrace the lifestyle that incorporates these goals, we can’t help but be happier.

In reflecting back on what I did and learned last year, I am totally sold on living an adventure. You have to put yourself out there, though. You have to stretch beyond your comfort zone, and open yourself up to new experiences. And you’ve got to be cool with the unknown, which was challenging at times, to say the least.

But I see the world differently now. I see myself differently now. And I like it!

I have never been so open to what the Universe will offer me than I am now. I feel like I am blooming, unfolding before my very eyes. Who knew?

I guess I had suppressed my true self for so long, I forgot I was in there, burning, waiting to be set free. I think I was living in fear. Fear of losing what I thought I had, but really didn’t.

I have a whole different attitude about [Read more…]

Show Notes for Feeling Your Best With Dr. Jonny Bowden

I have always been fascinated with the power of food. And last Friday I was lucky enough to have as my guest Dr. Jonny Bowden, the Rogue Nutritionist.

I have been following Dr. Jonny for years. He is so knowledgeable. He likes to call himself a research junkie, and I believe it. The information flows out of him like a fountain. He is amazing.

I had so many questions and so little time. But here is a brief rundown of what we were able to cover.

The connection Dr. Jonny and I have are our messages of mastering your health, body and personal power. Addictions are not the cause, they are symptoms. Whether it is food, drugs, alcohol or cigarettes, these are behaviors stemming form a much deeper cause that must be addressed for your success.

When you learn how to master your personal power, you can apply it to all other aspect of your life. But the symptoms can get out of hand when the source is not addressed.

Nutrition, what we put in our bodies, is the key to damage control and detoxification. It is the key to warding off aging and illness. Food is nature’s medicine.

Some of the random questions I asked were [Read more…]

Increase Your Energy and Happiness

OK, it’s that time of the year again. Time to boost your energy, vibrancy and happiness!

Farmer's market in France

It’s time for you to get that glow back. Back into your skin, your energy level and your outlook on life!

And it starts with taking advantage of the outdoors. It’s time to get back to exercising 4 to 5 times a week. Outdoors if possible. The fresh air will help clean out the cobwebs of the winter. The sun is energizing. And the challenge of propelling yourself forward is intensifying. Interval training is also more fun outside.

There is a power that you get from Nature that you can not get anywhere else. Tap into that power source and drink from it. It will contribute to your physical and emotional health, and it doesn’t cost a thing!

Now is the time to double up on fresh fruits and vegetables. And water – lots of water! The goal here is to cleanse, renew and rebuild. And eating organic foods that are as close to their natural state as possible can make that happen.

Find the farmer’s markets in your area and shop there. You are supporting their ability to continue to provide the freshest product to the masses while providing you with the most nutritional bang for your buck. The farmer’s markets will have only the produce that is in season, which means it will be as fresh and nutrient packed as you can get without growing it yourself. And the residual energy in produce that has just been picked off the plant still has a vibrant effect on your cells.  Take advantage of it!!!

It is also the time to get back into an exercise routine that is fun and beneficial. If you have been taking some time off from exercising for what ever reason, weather, life, etc., you will want to work yourself back up to the level of intensity you were used to. Remember, you do not want to start off as intensely as you were exercising before you took your break. Your musculature will not be as strong and supportive as before. So give yourself at least a week of starting slowly and building back up. Longer if you have taken a long break. It beats getting injured!

Now is also a good time to [Read more…]

For the Thrill of It

I know I’ve talked about this before, and definitely in my book, The Most Selfish Woman in America, How to Make Your Divorce the Best Thing That Ever Happened to You!

You need to do something that takes your breath away!

I’m talking about one of those experiences where you find yourself squealing like a little girl . . . OK, work with me here!

This week I took “flight” on a Skycoaster. It is a cross between skydiving and hang-gliding on the end of a cable. You are harnessed onto the end of a very long cable and pulled up 183 feet to the top of a very tall pole. Then after you make peace with what you must do, you pull a “rip cord” and start diving/falling straight towards the ground until the cable swings you out and up to it’s pinnacle. Then you fall back from wince you came, just to do it all again. You swing like a pendulum, back and forth, until your momentum is completely spent, and you are left dangling and in awe.

The whole experience is thrilling and [Read more…]
